Enhance sports skills by improving balance, core strength, focus, and flexibility. Studies have shown that athletes can benefit by cross-training and adding yoga to their training regimen. This routine works on flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and overall strength. These tools help prevent injury and aid in recovery. Mindfulness exercises and breath-work help with focus, anxiety, pre-game jitters, team comradery, and mind/body awareness.

Have you had a bad experience in a yoga class? Was it so weird or uncomfortable that it made you not want to go back? My introduction to yoga is not like any other class. My approach is to make yoga make sense. I may be a bit unorthodox, and there is a lot of communication. We will move through poses and modifications for your body. You'll learn what each pose will do for you and why they are important. You will understand what muscles you are utilizing and strengthen and add flexibility. I will also introduce breath work and meditation for your specific goals. When you do decide to go to a studio, you'll be more than ready.
